This couple was one of the sweetest people you can come across. Such a sweet and fun energy and it made working with them even better. It can make the session go by even faster when you can a nice couple with you and they certainly a joy. We met at the San Antonio botanical gardens and it was still looking amazing and blooming nicely even though this summer has been incredibly hot and hard for the plants to stay pretty. Every outdoor maternity session has access to my maternity gown closet and can use up to 3 gowns. Haleigh chose 2 pretty gowns that stood out so pretty against the greenery. She chose a vibrant red with sheer drop sleeves and a deep teal robe. I was obsessed. Nothing would have looked bad on her but she chose some great gowns 🙂

Omg, The amount of obsessed I was during Ingrid’s session was worrisome, but she is just so pretty! For her session, she chose 3 backdrops and 3 gowns and they all had the most elegant and pretty look. For one look, she chose a green tulle gown and paired it with an elegant white backdrop (it looks like the wall of a gorgeous museum with pretty architectural texture and for a second look, she chose a more simple backdrop that was a simple beige and gave it the wow factor with another pretty tulle gown. Her last look was a simple tossing drape type fabric that was with a simple white backdrop. Every look was gorgeous and I really couldn’t pick a favorite 🙂

I had so much fun working with Mozelle. She is a lawyer here in san antonio and I have to say she must be amazing because she has the sweetest soul! I love the choices she chose. She actually chose to bring one of her own outfits but I decided to just keep the blog to just showing off gowns I have for clients even though it was a really cute outfit 🙂 She chose to use one of my super fluffy tulle robes with a beautiful mauve backdrop and then did poses in one of my maternity wraps and a simple white backdrop. Both look effortless and perfect on her. Mozelle was so great at posing and doing the poses I asked her to mimic. Before each session, I go over the standard poses I’ll be asking and the try to have clients trust the process. I swear, it must feel so silly to be in front of a stranger and pose, but they all do it perfectly.

I really love getting chosen by mommas to be their photographer. it’s such an honor to be apart of such a big time in their life. Farah chose some gorgeous simple options that looked amazingly elegant against the simple backdrops she chose as well. She’s such a tall woman, i kept telling her she could be a model as well! Farah chose a black bodysuit with a hight neck and paired it with a beige backdrop (perfect contrast but still simple) and also did a white tossing fabric with a textured grey backdrop. Such amazing simple looks for her.

I also had the honor of being her newborn photographer for her little boy. And since I’m always behind on sharing my work, her little guy actually came to see me this week 🙂
