The family wanted to take advantage of everyone being together while one sister was visiting from out of state, which is honestly the perfect reason to schedule updated family portraits. Life gets busy, families grow, people move, and it is not always easy to have everyone in the same place at the same time. When it does happen, it is worth documenting.

This session included three generations of family, including grandparents, their two children, spouses, a sweet granddaughter, and another baby on the way. This beautiful petite maternity session in San Antonio was simple, classic, and full of love. Mama came into my studio expecting baby number four, and we created a timeless maternity gallery using one of the gowns from my maternity closet and a clean white backdrop.

This beautiful 6 month baby photoshoot in San Antonio was such a sweet session to photograph. This baby girl was happy, expressive, and full of the cutest little smiles. Her parents absolutely adore her, and it showed in every part of her session. There is something so special about photographing babies at this age because their personalities are really starting to shine.

This family booked my newborn, 6 month, and one year milestone sessions, which is one of my favorite ways to document a baby’s first year. Babies change so quickly during those first twelve months. From the tiny sleepy newborn stage, to the sweet sitting and smiling stage around six months, to the big personality that comes with a one year session, each milestone tells a different part of their story.

This sweet 3rd birthday photoshoot in San Antonio was such a fun one to capture. This little guy and his family are regulars of mine, and I always love having them back in the studio. This sweet client came into my San Antonio photography studio for her Signature maternity photoshoot, and her session was such a beautiful mix of simple, dramatic, soft, and romantic. For her first look, we started with a dramatic sheer black fabric maternity look. We kept some poses soft and simple with classic draping around her belly, then added movement by tossing the fabric into the air for a more editorial, flowing look. There is something so special about photographing a family year after year and watching their story unfold. This beautiful family of four met me in a dreamy open field in Helotes, Texas just outside of San Antonio, and it could not have been a more perfect evening. The tall golden grass swayed gently in the breeze while the Texas sunset wrapped everything in that soft, glowing light we all love.

As a San Antonio family photographer, golden hour is truly my favorite time to shoot. The light becomes warm and flattering, the sky turns into the prettiest blend of soft oranges and pastels, and everything feels calm and connected. This Helotes field location is one of those hidden gems that gives you wide open space, natural texture, and the most beautiful sunset views.

The kids ran freely through the tall fields, laughing and cuddling up to mom and dad in between playful moments. There were so many genuine smiles, sweet forehead kisses, and tight family squeezes.
