How has an entire year already flown by? It feels like just yesterday we were beginning this sweet baby girl’s first-year photography journey, and now here we are celebrating her very first birthday!

One of my favorite things about being a San Antonio newborn and milestone photographer is getting to watch these little ones grow right before my eyes. From those early baby days to sitting up, smiling, and eventually celebrating the big ONE, every stage brings something new and special.

This sweet girl holds an extra special place in my heart because she is baby number three from this wonderful family that I’ve had the privilege of photographing throughout their first year! Being invited back to capture each baby’s milestones is something I never take for granted. Over the years, they’ve become so much more than clients, and seeing their family grow has been such a joy.

Three Beautiful Themes for One Special Birthday

For her first birthday photography session, we had the best time creating three completely different looks!

We started with a dreamy floral cake smash setup filled with soft peach and blush tones, delicate flowers, and the prettiest little birthday cake. Her adorable peach dress and floral headband were the perfect finishing touches.

Next came a classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s-inspired setup, featuring beautiful turquoise blues, pearls, and the sweetest little black outfit. She looked absolutely precious, and those big smiles made the entire setup even more memorable!

We finished with a cheerful sunflower theme, complete with warm yellow tones and an adorable sunflower outfit. Her sweet expressions and curious personality truly shined through in every photograph.

First birthday sessions are about so much more than celebrating a number. They’re about remembering those tiny expressions, sweet smiles, and the personality that has blossomed over an incredible first year.
