One of my favorite parts of photographing little ones at their cake smash session is seeing their huge smiles and facial expressions. It’s so fun to see what makes them giggle. Some look at my like I’m crazy when I fake a sneeze or play peek a boo, and I love seeing parents just thru hoops (almost literally) to get a huge smile. It’s also fun to see the cute outfits parents bring in. For this particular session, I brought out some outfits that I keep on hand for clients who arent too in love with they have and this sweet girl looked amazing in everything. i’m so happy they chose me to be their San Antonio Photographer 🙂

Athena’s 1st Birthday Portraits | San Antonio Cake Smash Photographer | Krystal Garcia Photography

Athena’s 1st Birthday session was so fun! Full of smiles and her outfits were so cute. Her parents chose to skip the traditional cake smash, but it was fun to see her go from each prop with a smile. She loved looking at her parents make goofy faces and get the smiles out of her. All props are provided by me. Parents are of course able to bring in things of their own if they want a specific look, but I huge assortment of props, pom poms, cake stands and an even larger assortment of backdrops 🙂

Mr Leo is my nephew. A cutie and a ham. He hid all of his adorable toothy smiles from me but it didnt stop him from looking adorable and smashing that cake and eating it by the fists full. Leah’s 1st Birthday Portraits | San Antonio Cake Smash Photographer | Krystal Garcia Photography

Sweet Leah came in for her cake smash and OMG.. She is just the cutest!! I’ve now had the pleasure of photographing her 3 times now and she’s so much fun to have her in front of my camera. Full of gummy smiles 🙂 We started off with her unicorn theme (i love how its such a popular theme right now) and then grabbed photos in her mint and pink backdrop. Her dress and huge smiles were perfect with that pretty theme and then we moved on her cake!! In was go time. We no longer got tons of smiles because she was so serious about eating her cake lol. I loved that her mom continues to choose me to be her photographer. It was so much fun photographing her first birthday pictures.

Aiden’s 6 Month Milestone Session | San Antonio Baby Photographer | Krystal Garcia Photography

Aiden has been booked for my package and I was excited when he came in for his 6 month shoot. I last saw him for his newborn session and he’s grown a ton! His parents brought in the cutest props for his baseball theme and a cute onesie for his other outfit. This little chunk is toooooo cute! The biggest smiles and so much joy! I love capturing this age. Babies aren’t yet crawling, but sitting nicely and usually find their parents and any high pitched noises hilarious 🙂 I can’t wait to see how much he grows by the time I see him for his cake smash session in 6 months!

Mr Blake has been a client of mine since his newborn session and he was in front of my camera while still growing in his mommy’s belly. He also came in for his 6 month milestone session and I loved having him in front of my camera for his big first birthday session! 🙂 His mommy wanted lots of color and we sure did have fun coordinating backdrops and props for his photos! I love that he was using his feet and chinky thighs to smash his cake. Bigger mess means more fun was had! I am sad that I won’t be seeing him as often. He has such a big smile and the nicest parents! 🙂 I really enjoyed working with them over the past year.

Mr Logan came in for his 1st birthday session and had the cutest face and gorgeous eyes! Sebastians Cake Smash | San Antonio First Birthday Photographer | Krystal Garcia Photography

Sebastian has been a client of mine since he was just a fresh one week old baby! He was an adorable baby then and even cuter at his 6 month milestone session and even more adorable at his one year portrait session! We started off with regular pictures and then finished off with his Wild One Theme cake smash. Luckily, I have a super cute backdrop that fit his theme just perfectly and his mom brought in the floor confetti and balloons. I am so glad Sebastian came in to see me for his cake smash session!

McKinnie Family Session|San Antonio Family Photographer | Krystal Garcia Photography

I last saw the McKinnie family a year ago when their daughter came in for her newborn session 🙂 It was now time to grab some cake smash pictures but update her first birthday/cake smash portraits as well 🙂 We met up at a field in Helotes, Tx where the sunrise is gorgeous and the fields are pretty 🙂 We captured all of the family photos (And some of little miss Julliete by herself) and then moved on to her cake smash! I brought the ONE letters and the pom poms (And blanket) and grabbed pictures of her smashing that yummy cake 🙂 I am so glad they once again chose me to be their san antonio photographer 🙂

Gonzales Twin Cake Smash | San Antonio First Birthday Photographer | Krystal Garcia Photography

The Gonzales twins are ONE!! I feel like it wasn’t too long ago that they were in my studio for their newborn pictures. Their parents booked one of my packages, Newborn, 4 month, 8 month and their big one year cake smash session. I am so glad when parents choose to do milestone pictures rather than just the newborn and cake smash 🙂 They grow so much in between that year, so it’s nice to see and document them as they grow throughout the year. Their mom had a little monster cake smash theme and these two destroyed their cake. it was perfect for them! 🙂
