The amount of Joy I had while photographing this sweet boy… So much!! We started off with regular portraits with different chairs/props for him to sit on with a full, neutral balloon backdrop. i’m so glad his parents chose that backdrop. I offer over a hundred backdrops and this one had yet to be used and was without a model for it 🙂 he just loved peekaboo and singing from his parents. After the regular portraits, we moved we did one prop against a mini tree farm backdrop (great for Christmas portraits) and then moved to his cake! he just loved peekaboo and singing from his parents. For his final backdrop, I filled up warm water in the bathtub and used the powdered milk his parents brought for him milk bath he just loved the rubber duckies. This little guy was just a ball of happiness! I am so glad this family chose be to be their San Antonio cake smash photographer

First Birthday Photoshoot | Krystal Garcia Photography | San Antonio Cake Smash Photographer

I had so much fun with this gorgeous baby girl! She came to my studio to celebrate a a huge milestone; turning ONE!! How fun. She really was a fun baby and so full or smiles. We started off with regular portraits with one of my girly dream catcher backdrops (light pinks and white), 2nd was her cake smash and then rolled in her milk bath for her last setup with a pink and brown barn door backdrop. Her mom brought in some gorgeous fresh flowers to lay in her milk bath and around the bottom. I don’t think there was a single moment during her photoshoot that she was upset. I am so glad they chose me to be her San Antonio Cake smash/ first birthday photographer. As we near the end of 2022, I can’t wait to see the gorgeous faces that come to see me for birthday pictures in 2023!

Hannah’s First Birthday Portraits | San Antonio Cake Smash Photographer | Krystal Garcia Photography

I am always so thrilled to see my newborn clients come to my studio here in San Antonio for their Birthday Portraits 🙂 Miss Hannah is such a ham! It did take her a minute (like literally a minute) to warm up to me and for us to get her smiles rolling, but when she let them out, there was no stopping her 🙂 She was showing off her gummy smiles for me and her mommy 🙂 Her older sister, who i was also fortunate enough to photograph as a newborn & one year old joined in for a couple of shots. They laughed and laughed and big sister would hold Hannah to stand but then Hannah would pull them both down 🙂 We started off with her rainbow backdrop and then rolled over to her barn window backdrop and then her fun mint and coral balloon wall 🙂 Such a joy to work with! So glad they chose me as their san antonio cake smash photographer! 🙂

Oy my goodness, Miss Isabella is such a photogenic and happy girl! 🙂 She’s born and raised from san Antonio (her whole year of life) and it was a necessity to have a fiesta birthday backdrop since her birthday falls in April :). The well known month for us all to be the month for Fiesta 🙂 She was so easy to make smile but she loved her mommy and daddy even more and loved laughing with them 🙂 We started off with her fiesta backdrop for regular portraits and then moved on to her minty backdrop and finished off with her splashing in the tub 🙂

I love that Penelope’s Mom wanted a very simple photoshoot for her daughter’s first birthday portraits. She opted out of the cake smash (she said she might have gone a little too wild lol). She chose a very classic tile backdrop and then just simple white for her second backdrop. Miss Penelope absolutely adores her mom. I think me wearing the mask deterred her from wanting to look at me. lol but her mom and her dolly got all the great smiles out 🙂 So glad they chose me for her first birthday portraits :).

You’re reached a gallery full of backdrops that I offer for my clients! Yay! These are the backdrops that are available for my 6 month-8 year olds sessions. If you have a session booked with me and want to select a backdrop for your photoshoot, please take a screen shot of the backdrop you’d like for your session and email it to me. (make sure to crop out any other images so I’m not confused with the one you’re wanting) 🙂 some of these backdrops have had props added in, such as letters that spell ONE or the number 1 and occasionally pom poms. If you have a question about wether something was added and you want to see if it can be removed for your session, feel free to ask 🙂

One of my favorite parts of photographing little ones at their cake smash session is seeing their huge smiles and facial expressions. It’s so fun to see what makes them giggle. Some look at my like I’m crazy when I fake a sneeze or play peek a boo, and I love seeing parents just thru hoops (almost literally) to get a huge smile. It’s also fun to see the cute outfits parents bring in. For this particular session, I brought out some outfits that I keep on hand for clients who arent too in love with they have and this sweet girl looked amazing in everything. i’m so happy they chose me to be their San Antonio Photographer 🙂

Athena’s 1st Birthday session was so fun! Full of smiles and her outfits were so cute. Her parents chose to skip the traditional cake smash, but it was fun to see her go from each prop with a smile. She loved looking at her parents make goofy faces and get the smiles out of her. All props are provided by me. Parents are of course able to bring in things of their own if they want a specific look, but I huge assortment of props, pom poms, cake stands and an even larger assortment of backdrops 🙂

Mr Leo is my nephew. A cutie and a ham. He hid all of his adorable toothy smiles from me but it didnt stop him from looking adorable and smashing that cake and eating it by the fists full. He wasn’t shy about getting dirty or the floor. It was so much fun watching him go to town with it all 🙂 Im so glad he came to see me for his first birthday/ cake smash portraits 🙂

Sweet Leah came in for her cake smash and OMG.. She is just the cutest!! I’ve now had the pleasure of photographing her 3 times now and she’s so much fun to have her in front of my camera. Full of gummy smiles 🙂 We started off with her unicorn theme (i love how its such a popular theme right now) and then grabbed photos in her mint and pink backdrop. Her dress and huge smiles were perfect with that pretty theme and then we moved on her cake!! In was go time. We no longer got tons of smiles because she was so serious about eating her cake lol. I loved that her mom continues to choose me to be her photographer. It was so much fun photographing her first birthday pictures.
