I’m so thrilled to be working with this beautiful baby girl and her family over the next year! She’s already booked for her 6-month and one-year milestone sessions, and I can’t wait to watch her grow and capture each precious stage along the way.

A Dreamy Newborn Session

For this newborn session, she did absolutely amazing. We started off with family portraits, capturing all those tender first moments together, before moving on to her solo newborn photos. She slept like a champ through every setup, which made for the sweetest poses and expressions.

Her parents decided to skip the traditional “wrapped” style and go for a more natural newborn look — curled in their arms and hands, highlighting just how tiny and new she is. These photos turned out to be so pure and emotional, showing the beautiful connection between baby and parents.

When to Schedule Your Newborn Session

Newborns are best photographed under two weeks old — that’s when they’re still sleepy, flexible, and have that “fresh and new” look. After just a few short weeks, babies begin to fill out, wake up more easily, and aren’t quite as curly for those classic newborn poses.

If you’re expecting and thinking about scheduling a newborn photoshoot, don’t wait until your baby arrives! It’s best to reserve your newborn session during your second or early third trimester to ensure availability.
