From Newborn to One Year

Sweet Collin was last in my studio almost a year ago for his newborn photoshoot, and now he’s back for his first birthday portraits! (Technically, his newborn session was about 11 months ago — his mom scheduled early so she could have plenty of time to order prints for his birthday celebration.)

Watching him grow from a tiny newborn to an energetic, happy one-year-old was such a full-circle moment. He was full of smiles and personality during his session, and it’s always incredible to see how much babies change in such a short time.

For Collin’s first birthday session, Mom chose a minimalist setup with a white backdrop for all of his looks. White is such a versatile, clean background — it keeps the focus entirely on your baby and never goes out of style. These portraits turned out absolutely timeless and will look beautiful on display for years to come.
