This beautiful baby girl’s studio newborn session was full of sweetness from start to finish — lavender wraps, peachy pink tones, floral crowns, tiny sleepy smiles, and the sweetest moments with her mama and big brother.

As a San Antonio newborn photographer, I love creating newborn galleries that feel personal, timeless, and full of variety. This session had such a dreamy mix of soft feminine colors and floral-inspired setups. We used shades of lavender, peach, blush pink, mint, and deeper berry tones to create a gallery that felt colorful but still soft and delicate.

One of my favorite parts of this session was the variety of floral setups. Baby girl looked absolutely precious wrapped in peach inside a basket surrounded by soft flowers. The peach and coral tones gave the images such a warm, sweet feel. We also used lavender details throughout the session, including a soft purple wrap, floral headbands, and dainty newborn accessories that photographed beautifully against the clean studio backdrop.

Another favorite setup was the butterfly and flower backdrop. It added such a playful, whimsical touch while still keeping baby as the main focus. I love when newborn sessions include a few creative images like this because they bring personality and color into the gallery while still feeling polished and timeless.

Of course, the simple poses are always some of the most meaningful. Baby girl looked so peaceful in the soft lavender knit outfit, curled up with her tiny hands tucked under her cheek. Those close-up images show all the little details that change so quickly — her lashes, her lips, her sweet cheeks, and that tiny newborn curl.

We also included mama-and-baby portraits, which are always so important. I know many moms feel tired after having a baby, but these images matter. There is something incredibly beautiful about the way a newborn fits perfectly in her mama’s arms. These portraits become even more meaningful as the years pass.

Big brother was also part of the session, and his images were so sweet. Sibling portraits during a newborn photoshoot in San Antonio can be some of the most treasured photos in the gallery. His gentle kiss, proud smile, and the way he held his baby sister made these images feel so full of love. These are the moments families will look back on and remember exactly how tiny baby was in the beginning.
