Capturing Timeless Moments: San Antonio Maternity Photography Session with Taylor

As a San Antonio photographer, there’s truly nothing that brings me more joy than working with my clients. One of my favorite aspects of the job is meeting new people, learning their stories, and creating beautiful, meaningful photographs together. Some clients walk in without any fear, totally comfortable from the start, which makes my job even easier. But as someone who can be a bit shy in a new environment myself, I totally understand the importance of feeling relaxed and comfortable. I always strive to create a non-judgmental, welcoming space where clients can feel at ease and confident.

For Taylor’s maternity photoshoot, she was simply radiant. We had so much fun capturing her beauty, and the gowns and backdrops she chose perfectly complemented her natural glow. She selected a mix of elegant maternity gowns, including a classic fitted black gown that exuded timeless sophistication, and a ruffled blue gown that beautifully matched her stunning eyes. Her final looks included a soft nude gown and a casual yet chic combination of jeans and a sports bra, showcasing her effortless beauty in every style.

Miss Emily was such a joy to photograph. You could tell she was the sweetest and kindest soul as soon as I met her. We met at the pearl brewery here in san antonio for her maternity photoshoot. She wanted a new scene and it offered an urban and also features the beautiful riverwalk and a touch of greenery. I brought two gowns that she chose from my maternity gown collection and we got to work. Emily’s hair and makeup look fabulous and with these really glam gowns, she looked like royalty walking around the Pearl Brewery.  I saw lots of people who were walking around looking at her, she really looked amazing. We encountered some wind after her outfit change which brought on lots of laughs as we had to keep fixing the gown that would blow away from her feet as soon as we got everything looking perfect haha.

A Beautiful Maternity Session for an Amazing Mama Expecting Baby #4

I had the absolute pleasure of working with this stunning mama for her second maternity session with me, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out! She’s expecting her fourth baby—can you believe it? She looks absolutely incredible, radiating beauty and grace through every single shot. I’ve had the privilege of capturing many maternity sessions, but there’s something uniquely special about each one, especially when a family is welcoming their newest addition. This mama truly embodied elegance and excitement, and it was such an honor to be a part of this beautiful journey with her.

We started off the session in the studio with some nude maternity portraits. The black backdrop created a timeless, classic feel, allowing her natural beauty to shine through. I love starting with this look because it really emphasizes the glow and strength of the expectant mother, showing the grace and power of carrying a new life. The photos we captured in this setting were simply breathtaking, and you could feel the connection between the mother and the life growing inside her. Nude maternity portraits are such a beautiful way to celebrate the beauty of pregnancy, and this mama absolutely rocked it!

Next, we transitioned into a gorgeous green tulle fluffy gown, which added a touch of whimsy and softness to the session. The cream floral backdrop we paired with this gown created the perfect serene, ethereal atmosphere—ideal for showcasing the femininity and joy of pregnancy. The tulle of the gown gave off a dreamy vibe, and the soft, delicate floral backdrop complemented it beautifully. It was such a lovely contrast to the first set of photos and added a more romantic and delicate feel to the session.

For her final look, we chose a baby blue fluffy robe paired with a crisp white arched backdrop. The soft baby blue color really made her glow and added an extra layer of warmth and serenity to the photos. The white arch backdrop brought a clean, elegant look to the images, creating a sense of timeless beauty. This look was the perfect finish to the session, highlighting her pregnancy in such a serene, peaceful way. I love how each look we chose truly reflected different aspects of the maternal journey—from strength and elegance to softness and love.

To make the session even more special, her family joined in toward the end, and it was clear to see just how much love and excitement they have for their growing family. The way her partner and children interacted with her and supported her throughout the session was so heartwarming. There’s something truly magical about capturing these moments, not just for the mama, but for the whole family. The love between them radiated through every shot, and it made the session even more meaningful. You can tell they are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby, and the joy in their faces was absolutely contagious.

I am so honored and excited that this beautiful mama chose me as her San Antonio maternity photographer. It’s such a privilege to document such an important and intimate time in a family’s life. Every maternity session I do holds such a special place in my heart, and I feel incredibly grateful to be trusted with these memories.
